This is a beautiful fireplace. However, it was difficult to put together by myself. Also, I have been unable to "sync" the remote to the firebox. To be able to turn on the fireplace, I have to plug it into the wall. To turn it off, I have to unplug it. I have not been able to change the color or turn on the heat. If anyone can give me suggestions of what to do to remedy this problem, I am anxious to hear them. (I have replaced the batteries in the remote.)

I am very pleased with this purchase. It went together easily. It took me and my friend about 2 hours to follow the well illustrated directions. The fireplace is rockin' awesome and puts out nice heat even in my living room with a high ceiling. My only warning is check the feet measurement of. your TV closely, I am going to have to add to the top shelf as mine were too wide due to the triangle design of the top. My mistake..
