The unit itself is great, great replacement over a boring old bookshelf in my office. The feet seem pretty light duty so we'll see how they hold up over time, I probably won't overload the shelves. Instructions are definitely sparse, but if you've built enough furniture it's not too bad. Took me just under 2 hours by myself from opening the box to done. Sort the hardware before you start, makes it way easier.

The veneer looks cheaper in person and our bookcase arrived damaged. We’re still going to keep it but we’re putting it in a kid’s room instead since it doesn’t look as nice as we hoped.

It’s okay, looks like the picture except the holes for the doors were not aligned and therefore the doors do not sit evenly. The assembly instructions are absolutely awful. We ended up taking it apart multiple times because the instructions were so unclear and we had mistakenly done something wrong. It is only pictures with multiple steps depicted per picture. It’s a cute piece but I don’t think I would buy another.

VERY cute shelf, VERY difficult to put together. the instructions are heinous. like, if it could be a criminal offense for awful and useless instructions, this bookcase would be a criminal. it took me and another adult TWO HOURS to put together. but in the end it was worth it - it’s actually pretty sturdy and stinkin adorable. it only loses a star for the difficulty in assembly

Didn’t like it, it’s extremely smaller than I expected and flimsy. More fit for a child. I purchased it a while ago but going to try and return it! After my husband put it together I just want to return it.
