Disappointed in that the description says solid wood and it's actually particle board covered in laminate. The bookcase is also a little unstable and there were no covers provided to hide the exposed screws.

This is a nice looking, simple bookcase but I’d recommend looking for another option. The wooden dowels and one spindle were missing from my order. Shortly after ordering replacement parts I received a note that the manufacturer couldn’t provided those and would send an entirely new item in a month. Opted to just cancel and receive a refund to get something else. 5 star support from wayfair in helping me resolve though

Item arrived missing 3 of 6 shelves, but I got 2 extra boxes of (unneeded) parts. The boxes were all badly damaged. The wooden parts look ok, but the manufactured wood shelves are low quality, with bits of the molding on the edges cut or falling off.

Great shelves for a ton of books. Only 3 stars because it didn’t come with anchors and whether you have kids or not it is too thin and wobbly without them! Some of the spindles don’t screw in completely tight. Not sure I’d buy again but it’ll do.

Very poor product packaging. Product took 7 weeks to arrive after ordering. No assembly instructions or kit provided, no hardware for assembly, damaged shelving, and missing pegs.
