We bought 2 of these for our living room - a bit pricey for furniture you have to assemble yourself, but we loved them and they were the perfect size, so we bought them anyway. When we opened the first box there were no dowels to build the piece, they totally forgot to include them, and the shelf had a small crunch/nick in it. The second one had some rough finish issues (scuffing) and another crunch - this one on the metal leg (the finish was coming off in a small spot the size of an pencil eraser). It also had a discoloration running the entire length of the back panel (which would show on the inside the cabinet). We went out and bought dowels, and put them together anyway - all the finish issues are not visible looking at the front of the finished piece....... I feel like for a $600 cabinet the quality control should be sooooooo much better! The finished cabinets are beautiful, from the outside, the insides are already banged up.
