As an avid reader and someone who takes great pride in assembling furniture, I recently had the misfortune of encountering a bookshelf that left me fuming with anger and exasperation. The experience was nothing short of a nightmare, as it lacked essential instructions in English, crucial parts were missing or not labeled, and to top it all off, the pre-drilled holes were absent. This so-called bookshelf was a colossal disappointment and has earned my utmost hatred. First and foremost, let's address the glaring issue with the instructions—or lack thereof. How on earth can a company have the audacity to sell a product without providing clear and concise assembly instructions in English, the universal language of commerce and communication? It was as if the manufacturer was playing a cruel game, taunting me with an assortment of illegible hieroglyphics that left me more bewildered than a lost tourist in a foreign country. In the age of digital information, this oversight is nothing short of unacceptable. The frustration only deepened when I discovered that the essential parts were missing or improperly labeled. Assembling any piece of furniture can be a daunting task, but when you find yourself with an incomplete set of parts, it's enough to make your blood boil. It seemed like a cruel joke to expect me to build a functional bookshelf without all the necessary components. I had to endure the maddening process of rummaging through the packaging multiple times, futilely hoping that I had overlooked some crucial screws or connectors. To add insult to injury, the manufacturer seemed to have a warped sense of humor when it came to drilling holes. I understand that minor variations can occur in mass-produced items, but the absence of pre-drilled holes was an infuriating slap in the face. Attempting to align pieces perfectly and manually create precise holes was an exercise in futility. I'm no carpenter, and I certainly didn't sign up for this level of aggravation when I purchased a bookshelf. Despite my best efforts, the finished product was far from satisfactory. The wobbly and unstable structure made it clear that this bookshelf was destined for a date with the trash bin rather than being a functional addition to my home. It was nothing short of an eyesore, a constant reminder of the wasted time and money that I could never reclaim. In conclusion, the bookshelf that I had the misfortune of encountering was an unmitigated disaster from start to finish. The lack of clear instructions, missing parts, and undrilled holes made it a nightmare to put together. I loathe this bookshelf with every fiber of my being and would never wish this ordeal upon anyone else. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this product at all costs.

I love this design, truly think it is unique and fits my space well. I found it easy to put together, the pieces were well marked and the starter holes lined up as expected. There are 2 reasons this doesn't get a 5 star rating from me: 1. The screws don't sit flush, so there is a little bump and they provide a cheap sticker as a cover. It could be such an easy fix for them. 2. It's incredibly unstable. This must be either attached to the wall (hardware provided), have the legs moved wider for more stability, or take the legs off entirely (what we decided).

Really like the bookcase, but was difficult putting together only because the instructions were difficult to decipher and not written in English. Also, the pre-punched holes for the screws needed to be a bit different. A power screwdriver was required because they couldn't be done manually with a regular screwdriver. Also in a couple of places there wasn't any pre-punched holes and that made it even more difficult to assemble.
