Newt 4 Legs Coffee Table with Storage

Although I ultimately ended up with a table that looks mostly like the picture, putting together this table was a terrible experience. The first table I received did not have all the hardware and every piece was either chipped or gouged. It was also packaged poorly and there were little styrofoam bits all over my house. Wayfair ultimately sent me another table when it was determined they weren’t able to send me individual replacement parts. The second table I received was in better condition but opening the package resulted in the same amount of styrofoam bits going everywhere which was a nightmare to clean up. I am well versed in assembling flat packed furniture and have never struggled with a piece of furniture more than this one. The hardware is very poor and the way it is designed the top can easily pop off so I added additional glue for security. I also had to drill additional holes in pieces that did not have holes where they were supposed to. Additionally neither table I received had enough hardware that the instructions called for so I had to use parts from both tables I received to make one complete table. The legs were not as pictured for either table I received. It came with what were essentially large dowels and metal plates instead of the white legs angular legs that were pictured. I had to drill holes in the legs to attach the plates (the plates came with the first table but were not included in the second). The screws provided were too long and pushed through the bottom of the table when I attached them (I used the shortest screws provided). Additionally there were not enough screws to attach the legs between both tables I received. I would not order this table unless you are willing to use a power drill (a vice is handy too for the legs) and have lots of extra screws and hardware at home to supplement what you get with the table because it won’t be enough. I actually like the table now that it’s finally together but it requires significantly more effort than any flat packed furniture piece should require. The quality control and design of this item is poor.
