Worst purchase ever, would give this 0 stars if that was an option. Does not come with an instruction manual, just a bag of screws, a small screw driver and the small pieces of what is suppose to be the shelf. I couldn’t put the shelf together since the product description on the Wayfair app doesn’t provide a pdf of the instruction manual either, but the shelves looked rather small so even if I had been able to put it together I’m sure i would have been unsatisfied with the final product

No instruction for putting it together. It's not a good product. Never buy anything with the engineering wood.

The books shelf works for me. However, unless you read chinese, this can be difficult to assemble. I'm a patient problem solver and it took 3 hours and few curse words to get this thing together.

I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Never taking chance on something that has no reviews again, at least not on Wayfair. Calling this a "shelf" is generous, let alone a bookcase. For one, it came with approximately a single page of directions with no written words and a bunch of useless diagrams that I am pretty sure were incorrect. After it took 3 adults several hours to put together, I should have just trusted my gut and returned it, but I was in the middle of moving and just wanted to have a shelf. Unfortunately, that was too much to ask of this particular product. Essentially, the shelf is made up of two halves that you slide together, which is what allows you to make it wider or place it in a corner. However, these two halves are not hinged together in any way, instead they nest into each other using a extra long slat of wood at the top and bottom. So once the shelf is in place, you can never move it again, or else fall victim to what happened to me. Because the top and bottom slats had nothing to rest on when it was being moved, the weight of them ripped the screws and dowels right out of their holes, rendering the entire shelf useless as the holes are obviously now too large for the screws to fit back into, and a shelf cannot stand without a left side. And of course, because it happened about a month into owning the item, it is not refundable and I am out $70 and have to spend more money on a new shelf. Do not be like me, do not press add to cart, turn back now while you still can.
