Once we finished assembling this, I liked it a lot. It looks like the photo and seems sturdy. However, the assembly was difficult. It takes 2 people to assemble it because there are 122 pieces, 10 steps to follow, and pieces to align as you work on it. My husband is great this type of thing but it took him and my daughter (an engineer!) an hour and a half to complete. So, allow plenty of time and clear some space to assemble it. But the finished product looks nice and my granddaughter loves having easy access to her books.
