The first picture was of the original because I wasn't going to open the box until we moved into our new home. The 2nd picture is of the item assembled. I am a little disappointed in the armoire because while it is really pretty, it is not practical except for possibly a baby's room, in which case it would be very nice if it had drawers in the bottom, or at least shelves. However, it only has one shelf in the bottom half and only one rather lightweight bar at the top to hand items on and it is very short from top to bottom - enough room to hang a top possibly, baby clothes would be perfect length and weight-wise. It also has a stick-on light, but no hole anywhere for the cord to run out to plug in, and the battery won't last long, in which case you would have to unstick it or find a way to recharge it. Beautiful look, but not practical.

Huge gap in both the top and bottom doors which don’t appear in the listing photos. Makes it look cheap which is super disappointing. The light is rechargeable, but the power and light color changer knobs are swapped. Easy to put together. Very stark white. Pictures looked more like an off white or antique white. The gap in the doors is horrible, but I’m past the return date so I guess I’m just stuck with it now. Would not recommend.

Looks great in my mothers room

I bought this wardrobe for my husband. Our house does not have a lot of closet space, and this has been great to help him have his own space to organize his clothes.
