Price is great, but the shelves are shallow - that's my issue for not looking ahead of time. The real reason for the decreased stars is the backing. It has panels like many shelves, but instead of a folded/mostly solid piece, it is several pieces with adhesive strips to put them together. Problem is the adhesive is bubbly/not smooth, which results in a not smooth backing. Making it work cause the shelves are full so you don't really see. But I had some real reservations before I filled it up.

Bookcase was very easy to build had no scent upon opening, my only concern is if it can hold all my books and photo albums its not that sturdy I might not be able to fully load it but it does look nice and easy enough to move it around , and shelves are adjustable.

Easy assembly. Shelves can’t be overloaded but works well.
