Table d'appoint Cole and Grey Marble avec support en métal noir

This cute little table could have been so much nicer had some care been taken in the production. There is still red ink marking where the top was cut. The edges are rough looking. Someone should have caught this during quality control. The table is solid once put together. It will take two people to assemble because the top is heavy and you need to align the legs. I wouldnt have kept it had it not been free. Hopefully the others are better quality.

Well to start with, I was very disappointed with this Cole and Grey Marble Accent Table with Black Metal Support, because it said this end table came fully assembled and in 1 piece. I could tell that it wasn’t true when I saw the box because it was flat. Then the second disappointment was seeing the piece of marble for the tabletop. The top was a weird egg shape instead of an oval shape. It also had scratches on it, a piece in the middle of the stone looks like it is lifting up, and it is very rough when you rub your hand across it. The finish on it is bad. I expect when it says marble it is nice and smooth after having been sanded. But this one also has some type of varnish on it. The overall height of the table is 19.7” and width is 18.7”. But like I said the oval isn’t the same on both sides. The table is fairly small and doesn’t hold much. I have two sconces on it and that’s about it. It would hold a small lamp or drink. Maximum weight you can put on it is 100 lbs. To me it is a contemporary table. The bottom is made of sturdy black metal. You just have to unfold it into and X shape and then place the top on it and screw the bolts on the pegs to hold the top on. Assembly only takes a few minutes. It weighs 17.73 lbs. You can only use it indoors it says and wipe it clean with a dry cloth. Would I recommend this table? Probably not. The finish on it is far from nice. If you move your glass across the top of it you would probably chip off some of the rough varnish.
