Solid, would have been an easier assembly with regular screws instead of “Allen” screws, but other than that, great!

I looked long and hard for the exact bookcase I thought I wanted and I did not go wrong with this purchase. Exellent quality and is really durable and beautiful!

I was looking for a large corner bookcase, but I didnt want it to look heavy or take away from the airiness of the room. This fit the bill! There is lots of storage, and the open sides and back make it look lighter and give you different options for displays. It was easy to put together, it just takes time. I recommend using a drill with a hex bit, since all of the screws have a socket head and using the little included Allen wrench would take forever!

I try to keep my home somewhat organized, but lately stuff has been getting piled up and I was looking for a shelf to organize piles of stuff in my bedroom. We have a really small house, so we need to maximize space well. This shelf in the corner of our bedroom is going to eliminate a ton of anxiety that I felt from walking into a cluttered room. It's well built and is almost like it was perfectly designed for this corner. It did take us a minute to put together, but only because the Allen wrench does not make a full rotation during the tightening process when putting the screws in near the board on some levels, so we had to keep taking it out and rescrewing. It took us 5.5 hours with two people working. It would have been much easier if we had an electronic Allen wrench this size, but we didn't and didn't want to spend the money when we might not use it often. There is nothing unclear to us in the directions. Everything was explained well. That said, it still is a great piece, and will meet our needs perfectly. It looks black, but it is actually walnut.
