Fairly sturdy even with thinner shelves then what I would have liked. The bookcase looks good despite its basic-looking design. That said, it is what I was looking for for a good value. Assembly was a breeze and the step-by-step instruction were clear. I particularly like the way the back is slide into place and the hardware they provided to secure it in place. All-in-all, I am very satisfied with the bookcase.
