There's definitely room for improvement with this couch. You get what you paid for, especially when ordering a product online with no other reviews...Aesthetically, the couch looks great. Unfortunately, the quality doesn't hit. And you don't find this out until you've built it. The couch took several hours to build, another 72 hours for the cushions to fluff, it looked great in the process, and then we finally sat down on it and it didn't feel as great as it looked. It felt cheaper than our previous couch, and we were hoping for an upgrade. Now, unbuilding the couch, packing it up again, and paying for shipping is near to impossible. Last time buying a couch online for us.
Pros = each piece has storage underneath and you don't "feel" it, ie. the couch isn't super stiff or uncomfortable. The colour and fabric are nice. The ottoman pieces are modular.
Cons = the cushions and armrests are super flat/thin, even after the 72 hour waiting period. The couch feels cheap overall, which I guess is reflected in the price? The ottoman cover/lid literally feels like a piece of cardboard without a clamshell latch. The ottoman pieces don't have hooks to clip to the main body of the couch, and because the couch is so flimsy, they're constantly shifting around (this was solved with some anti-slip stickers underneath). Doesn't have the meatiness or heaviness of a catch that will last a family many years (ironically, there is a family pictured in the photos).
