The nightstand is stained and does not at all look like natural wood/photos.

These a well made and sturdy for the price. I purchased the white wash and there were 2 dark marks but I can look past that and I will probably end up painting them. The white wash finish is very warm just in case you are looking for a cooler tone.

The build quality is nice but the finish is not great. The veneer is not adhered in places or is patchy. The color for the natural finish is also somewhat uneven (different wood tones throughout). This might not be an issue with the whitewash color.
