Absolutely not soft in any way. Less than an inch thick and then when you lay on it, you feel nothing but floor. Decide if you are ok with that before purchase because they keep 8.99 for shipping it back! 12.99 for a pick up to return.

Love this futon mattress. Better than expected. Looks great on my futon and comfortable for sleeping.

Smells horrible, thin and the stuffing inside is not evenly distributed. It’s basically like putting a comforter on the floor.
