Each piece cracked or broke upon the Wayfair serviceperson putting it together. It looks beautiful but it almost literally crumbling.

Shelf is overall very solid and beautiful. My package was open box and showed up with some damage and missing hardware but Wayfair customer service did a good job dealing with the situation quickly. The shelf did take a while to assemble and some elbow grease to do alone. Once completed though, it’s clear that it’s going to stand the test of time.

The wood is nice, but the build quality is very poor. Several holes were drilled in the wrong place or off center and needed to be manually widened or re-drilled entirely. Once assembled the screws needed to be manually tightened and retightened very carefully to get it level level. Front supports were ~1/16th inches shorter than the back so it does not stand steadily and required a shim. In addition, the manufacturer did not include all the screws in the instructions either. Ultimately not worth the hassle and would strongly recommend buying something else.

This arrived damaged. Not only was 1 of the shelves cracked, but both of the vertical wooden pieces had scuff marks. The replacement process was less than ideal. I spent hours on the phone to get it resolved. Shipping for the replacement took way longer than it should have and I had to reschedule Angi install service multiple times. In the end, this bookcase is okay but not as nice as it looked in the photo. Even on the replacement there were scuff marks on some of the pieces. This was my first experience purchasing furniture from Wayfair and I don't expect to be a repeat customer.
