I purchased this table specifically to replace a square cement table, primarily because I wanted a safer, more "family-friendly" piece for when my young granddaughter is over. Unfortunately, the quality of this table has been a major disappointment, and it fails to meet even basic standards of craftsmanship.
The Issues:
Poor Finish & Splintering: As seen in the photos, the wood on the edges is already failing. There is significant "feathering" and splintering along the rim. For a table intended to be safer for a toddler, these rough, jagged edges are actually a hazard for little hands.
Structural Defects: The joints where the legs meet the tabletop are poorly finished and don't sit flush. In some areas, it looks like the wood was damaged or improperly sanded before it even left the factory.
Durability: The tabletop surface is showing premature wear and strange white spotting/pitting. It’s clear the sealant used was either insufficient or incorrectly applied.
Final Verdict:
I am incredibly let down. You expect a certain level of durability and safety when buying furniture for a home with grandchildren. This table is failing in both departments. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a quality, long-lasting piece.
