The listing said this was solid wood. We bought this particular headboard so that we could stain it to match our bedroom set. I am so baffled by this headboard design. It feels like it might be constructed with solid wood but then it’s wrapped in a fake wood grain veneer that’s very plasticy looking and feeling. It’s not even a real wood veneer. I just don’t get the design logic there. We immediately returned it because that is not what we were wanting. The manufacturer and Wayfair was super great about the return.

This rustic headboard collection by Ebron designs is very well put together. It’s very heavy. The wood is not fake wood. I love the style of it. We’ve put it in our beach condo and I just think it looks great. I wish I would have gotten the end table and dressers, but overall I’m pleased with the bed. We got a queen size moved from a full to a queen size, and I am very pleased with the overall design and the sturdiness and how well it is made and put together.

This headboard is just what we needed to add on to our bed. We've needed a headboard for so long to stop the pillows from crawling into the gap of our wall and the bed. It was super easy to assemble and put into place.

This headboard is a very heavy, solid piece of furniture. The color is a beautiful dark charcoal. The headboard is mostly made from real wood, with some pressboard. I didn’t read the description very well and was surprised to find out it is supposed to be mounted to the wall, not the bed frame. Assembly was fast and easy. My husband did use wood glue to strengthen it.

 Could not origianlly put the headboard together and needed a part. The number seven is a crossbar that should have to pre-drill holes on the side connecting with the other pieces. There is no holes so the headboard cannot be assemble. Spoke to a Wayfair representative and they said they will be mailing it out. Received the new headboard and this is very nice. Thank you
