Right off the top, I have to say you get what you pay for. The price of this set of 2 bookcases is about what it costs for dinner for 2 at a nice restaurant. So, adjust your expectations accordingly. That said, I knew I'd have to glue together and paint these things in order to make more sturdy and fancy looking.
