The bed is nice at sturdy. I bought it in a full size and I have a teen who’s 125lbs. So she loves it so far. I didn’t have to purchase a base I simply put the mattress on top of the bed frame. It makes it sit lower but she doesn’t mind. For an adult I do recommend a box spring for more height.

Shipping was fast, packaged really well. No problems there. Assembly was pretty straightforward and fast. Sturdy bed for as light as the frame is. Worked perfect in out guest bedroom. Very pleased, would recommend.

Assembly was easy, however, I'm not sure it will last because it feels a bit flimsy to me. Thankfully, it is in the guest room where it won't be used all the time. The good thing about this bed is that you only need a mattress.
