I was wanting to replace a small temporary cabinet that was holding all of my cooking oils and seasonings. This was perfect for my need. Now I can store my cook books at the bottom and my cooking oils on the top shelves. The shelves are deep and even though this is not solid wood it’s still a very solid piece. I highly recommend.

I love the look of this book shelf and it was super easy to put together. The down side to this is the way the shelves sit. Very flimsy resulting in the shelves feeling a bit unstable. Other than the flimsy way the shelves sit, this is beautiful piece.

This bookcasestorage cabinet is so much nicer than I expected it to be for a build-your-own set. First, each of the pieces and the instructions were clearly labeled and written. Second, it took very little time to put together. And third, it’s a heavyweight, gorgeous-looking piece! I love that it has space to feed cords through the back—genius! Overall, so happy with this piece.

Overall pretty happy with this bookshelf. One of the sides felt really loose, no matter how we installed or tightened. We ended up putting a bigger screw to secure it. Once we did that it was a lot more sturdy. For the price it’s a good little shelf with a nice appearance. Bonus that it comes with a wall anchor to secure it and keep little ones safe.

Average quality bookshelf. Very simple to assemble, not time consuming, and directions are simple. Once assembled, it's quite sturdy. It's the perfect mid size, and the finish is a nice oak color (not too orange or yellow). My only real issue with it is the brackets that hold the shelves cause a gap between side walls and shelf. It makes the shelves a little less structurally sound, and it makes the bookshelf look extremely cheap. A for function and build, C for aesthetic and design. For my purpose, it's fine, but if I were using it in a more aesthetic way, I'd not be very pleased. - J's wife.
