2 stars because it looked nicer than a metal frame. But after one year, the legs splayed out (we managed to tighten them well enough) and the center support gave out (not fixable). This was used by one, average-sized person. Had to replace it.

I had an extra twin mattress that we pull out for visiting kids. This platform frame works perfectly in my office so that it can serve as a 'couch' when not needed as a bed.

A little wonkiness putting it together. The tool the provided was useless (wore out after 4 screws). Two of the bolts would not tighten. Hopefully it holds together.
