These stools are lovely; sturdy and look great in our bar area. Only 2 issues with them are that there are no guide holes on the seat (so you can't attach without a drill), and the "feet" don't go in all the way - and actually make the stools look kind of cheap - like they made everything else about it beautiful and then just gave up when they got to the bottom. Firstly, they have to be hammered in (but again, don't go in all the way so then you also have to "level" them), and secondly they will scratch your floors so they need additional pads on them. This is such a weird feature of this rather expensive stool. I have cheaper stools with better floor protection on the bases. All that aside, they are sturdy and comfortable and are worth the price, IMO.
