The cedar Log Bed was worth the wait. It is like a funtional piece of art. Please note for assembly you will need a large 15/16" socket & ratchet. Four 30 7A screws are entered into the logs. The delivery crew and neighbors did not have this large socket size but luckily my handyman did.

This is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture. However, the chest came with damage to the hinge. My husband had to go out and buy new screws (because the original ones were too short) and bend the hinge back in shape before inserting the screws. Wayfair gave me a 20% discount because of the damage, which I consider good customer service. But there was another issue which I did not report to Wayfair because I was not aware of the issue at the time. The lid will not open all the way. The hinge is strong and the lid will stay open-but only about 3/4 of the way. I was able to get my stuff in the chest, but I have to bend down to the floor to get stuff out, but I have to pull it out at an angle instead of straight up. Again, my husband is going to try and adjust the hinges so that I can open it more. That said, the chest is gorgeous, but because of the hinge/lid issue-it is not worth the full asking price.

This bed is beautiful. I out it in my matter bedroom in my cabin and it is perfect.
