Definitely measure before you buy. I have a standing desk that I got this “drafting chair” for the times I want to sit. I swapped out the wheels for a smoother set of casters. In its highest position I still find it a little too low. Will try adding a cushion. The chair, once assembled, looks nice. That said, one of the metal pieces arrived dented, one of the screws was filled with solid metal and wouldn’t receive the Allen wrench, and part of the white fabric had marks on it. The foot rest, like all chairs of this style, slips down the shaft doesn’t stay put for more than a day. Once you look past those things it’s a solid 3 out of 5.
