The back of the chair is a mesh and breathable which does not make your back sweat. The seat is cushioned and soft but also breathable. The handles are plastic and are very easy to clean. I personally don't like padded handles since it is hard to wash them. These arm rests are adjustable. The chair reclines and has hight adjustments and suits my teenager perfectly. The wheels work fine even on carpet. It is a great chair for office or any desk. Perfect addition to our schoolroom.

It was so easy to put together, took me 10-12 minutes tops. It even came with the only tool you need! of you are working at home in a carpeted area it moves easily on carpet. If you are making an office purchase your employees with love it!!
