Banc rembourré Rudy

Looks very different than the photos on the site. The wood is matte in texture, looks dry and is very dark unlike the medium brown color pictured that is contrasting with the leather of the seat - I would say the wood is almost black. The wood is also cracked in the middle under the seat (see photos attached). The handles have seams in wood and are most likely glued together and not cut from a single piece of solid wood as stated. The metal rivets /nail heads are oxidized and discolored. Other than that the chair was very well packaged. Due to the completely different color than pictured it does not match the room or the rest of the decor whatsoever. Disappointing since Design Toscano is usually on point and most Wayfair pieces do come as pictured.

Excellent addition to the home. Well packed and delivered ahead of scheduled time.

The picture does not do the bench justice. It is much more detailed and finely skilled and elaborate. I am thrilled with the bench. I have it in my bedroom and it is striking and definitely a statement piece.
