Pangita Solid Wood Counter Stool (Set of 2)

We love these unique barstools to finish off our kitchen renovation. We first saw them at World Market for more money shipping. I was able to find them on Wayfair instead! They are good quality and very easy to assemble.

Looks good, but don't count on sitting on them daily. Left and right sides come glued at corner joints, but actual daily use causes those joints to fail. You will end up on the floor. Mine? Delivered March 6, 2025 thrown out May 27, after having re-glued once on ea h chair in the last 6 weeks of ownership. Buy something better than looks.

The stools look beautiful and are exactly what I was expecting! Assembly was easy and the parts were well packaged. Giving 4 stars, because one of the wood nodules was split which made assembling that one part tricky. Package was also slightly damaged.

UPDATE Feb 2025 I have to update my 2 stars to 1 star. BUYER BEWARE! ALL of these stools have fallen apart completely. Besides the total lack of customer service on this purchase (Being asked to please speak to a rep before returning, and never actually being able to do so? And zero effort to replace the initial broken ones...) I am so disappointed by how all of the stool seats have come unraveled. Breaking one after the other over the course of just a few months is terrible. If you are using these for a photoshoot, you will be happy. My client, however, on a small budget and actually needed to use the stools AS STOOLS, is extremely unhappy. Not one of these has survived, not even the two that were intact. Earlier Review: 4/6 I purchased were defective - full on smashed and split in two. See the pics. Not pictured is the 2 that were split at the footrest bar. This was very disappointing. They're really beautiful stools, as you can see from the photos, so it's hard to leave this review.

Beautiful and easy to assemble. The picture online looked like the leather was more of a deeper chocolate brown, but in reality, they are more of a medium-toned cognac or tobacco brown. Still looks great in the room and the color of the leather seat is so neutral that it blends nicely with other shades of wood and upholstery in the area.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AND WAYFAIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS LESS THAN HELPFUL. Stools arrived well packed, but when I opened them, the wood is cracked and crushed in places. There are also pen marks on them. I’m concerned about the integrity of one of the legs. Wayfair either offered me a 26 credit or said I had to return them. The chairs are very heavy and it would be a total pain to return. I am not impressed. Don’t waste your time or your money.
