Love the chair! Firm seat and very comfortable. Easy to put together. I’m a 62 year old female and had no issues whatsoever. You recline the chair by pulling the seat back forward to release it and set it where you want it. The foot rest just pulls out and is comfortable when reclined. I wanted a simple lightweight chair I could move in front of the fire and this chair is exactly what I was looking for!
