First off, these chairs look great as long as you’re viewing from a distance. The workmanship is terrible. The holes for attaching the seats are drilled just off enough that I was barely able to get the screws in. As others have said, there are no plugs to cover the unsightly and horribly drilled holes. On one of the chairs (i followed the directions to a T ) I was attempting to tighten it up in order to bring the pieces together and eliminate the gap when I heard a crack. One of the pieces broke from the stress. I take full responsibility but if the pieces fit properly I feel that wouldn’t have happened. Also, the wood color is way off from what it shows in the pictures. It is very much lighter. All that said, I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1 because they are very very comfortable bar stools. The seats are fantastic and i don’t think many guests would be scrutinizing the screw holes or the shade of brown on the wood. The question is can I overlook the flaws and keep them.
