I just open the box and the item is broken. I would like to return the item.

For the price I paid, it is a great piece. It is particle board and veneer mainly, but it is handsome after assembly and the tone is a pretty close match to my pine posts. I love a good cam bolt, they are more forgiving than regular screws if you accidentally have the finished edge on the wrong side and need to back them out.

The WayFair process was very easy and delivery was great. The product was only ok, the veneer on the cabinet was very thin and cracked every time you screwed one of the connectors into it.

The cabinet is very sturdy and was easy to assemble. Directions were clear and the parts was packaged well to avoid damage. My only reason for 4 stars is that I ordered it in Biscotti and received Light Oak. Called and was told that the mfgr packaged some items in wrong box. The colors are similar so I can't tell, it may be correct but it leaves doubt in a buyers mind and its Wayfair verified. Other than that its a perfect choice for the price and the color will work for me so I am keeping it.

The price was right and the reviews were good and this piece came well packaged and looks exactly as pictured in person, but I still debated knocking 1 star because a couple of the dowel holes were loose (I added a little wood glue to ensure a tight fit) and the cabinet hinges were slightly fidgety to hang perfectly straight, but I think I'm just too much of a perfectionist sometimes. Note that the only parts of this piece that are solid wood are the trapezoidal legs that go on via 2 dowels and a screw and the cabinet pulls and every panel, door, shelf, etc. is manufactured wood with a thin veneer as the description details imply. I do worry about the longevity of this piece as a result, mostly because I'm worried the screws in manufactured wood could strip over time just from repeated opening/closing of the cabinet doors, but that comes with the territory at this price point and the look is exactly what I was going for, so I'm willing to make an exception from my solid wood preference and roll the dice on this piece.
