Console 63 pouces Mid Century Modern pour téléviseur de 65 po ou moins avec portes coulissantes

This is a solid TV console with some assembly Hiccups. I ordered this TV console from Wayfair, and it arrived in a large, heavy cardboard box that definitely requires two adults to carry safely. We opened it in the garage and brought the pieces inside piecemeal, which made it manageable. Assembly is recommended for two people, but I handled it solo without too much trouble. The construction is straightforward two long pieces for the top and bottom, plus two side panels forming the main box. Inside, there are shelves with a wing-like setup featuring shorter drawers, creating a nice compartmentalized design. Most of it went together easily—no major difficulties there. However, I hit a couple snags. When installing the doors, one of the springs on the top rail broke off and popped out. I had to jerry-rig it back in place, and it doesn’t sit perfectly, but it works for now. Also, the gold handles come without pre-drilled alignment holes, so you have to carefully line up the drawers and screw them in level—tricky if you’re not precise. Size-wise, it turned out too short for our intended spot, so we’ll likely relocate it elsewhere in the house. Aesthetically, it looks great with a modern vibe, and the quality feels decent.

This media console took about an hour to put together and has a lot of screws. It arrived damaged as you can see in the pictures.  I plan to use black furniture marker to correct the spots that are chipped. The bottom part of this console arrived with a lot of scratches but they aren’t visible so I can overlook that.  I was really looking forward to the gold accents to accentuate my living room. However, this is not gold. It is more yellow than anything. Disappointed.
