The nightstand itself is great. Feels sturdy, minimalist mid-century design is just as pictured, and I think it’s a great value for the quality. The issue I had is more of a user error - the color is super reddish. And it was much lighter in person than in photos. For reference I chose the Caramel color. It’s not a big deal though, I plan on refinishing it a little darker once I have a minute. It was difficult to find this style nightstand so it’s worth the little extra labor of love.

Super cute and sturdy- efficient for small spaces!

I wasn't sure about the opening under the top, but I was able to find two fabric baskets to act as drawers that sit side by side for those little things one usually has in a beside table. My only complaint is it it WAY TOO SHORT! It's at least 6" too short, which makes placing or retrieving things in the middle of the night quite difficult. I am accustomed to a bed-side table at the height of the mattress. The wood is very nice and the build quality appears to be good. I probably should have sent both back after the first was assembled, but I decided I could get accustomed to them. Now I am looking for a practical way to lengthen the legs.

Simple yet sturdy and pretty. Very mid century. We like it!
