Let’s start with the packing. You know that extra cardboard packed in your box to protect the pieces? Yeah…that was all stuffed in one end of the box, leaving the parts of the desk to bounce around and scuff each other. You can tell the box went through some stuff as there was a hole in it and parts were sticking out. Because of the poor pack job, many pieces were chilled, scuffed, and one was actually cracked almost the whole way through. Luckily, it was the top piece, so when it was out together, you couldn’t see it. Also, all the hardware were thrown together in one bag, so be prepared to sort and organize that before starting. Now the instructions. The instructions were… Well, let’s just say they exist. They were sorta detailed in a way that was about 37% helpful. I did some guess work, which led me to back tracking, but all in all, it only took about two hours to assemble. Note that the last part of assembly is definitely a two person job as they have you put together everything from the desk top up and then left it onto the bottom support piece. When it was finished it was bigger than I imagined , which was a wonderful surprise. On the downside, it does lean forward and feels very unstable. The instructions tell you to loosen the legs to level out the desk. DO NOT DO THIS! The minute you loosen those legs they will give out and the desk will tip over. I wedged pieces of wood under the legs until I come up with a more permanent solution. Overall, it doesn’t look terribly bad and it really helped me organize my workspace

The positives Decent looking desk. Heavy. Like the mix of the white and dark (walnut color). Lots of storage options without taking up a ton of space. Good price. The negatives Lots of dings and chips, missing pieces. We included Angi’s serviceinstall. The first shipment was delayed several days by FedEx so missed installation date. Second installation finally occurred, but installer showed up 6 hours late. Then found out Wayfair left out the screws, so couldn’t even install the desk anyways. Had to wait on screws or deal with shipping back for replacement. (Screws had longer lead time than desk replacement) Finally got desk replacement after another FedEx delay (and a box half opened) and scheduled a third install. Angi’s List charged us an extra 26 dollars because installer said it was going to take longer to install than anticipated. Discovered two shelves were missing from replacement desk, but fortunately we were able to use the ones from the initial desk with the missing screws. The entire process has been a complete mess and very frustrating.

This is the perfect desk for my niece's small dorm room. My niece was able to assemble the desk in about an hour. The shelves provide plenty of space for books, makeup etc. The table top has plenty of space for her monitor and keyboard.

This desk is a Monet…it looks great from far away but is a mess up close. The only reason I’m using it is because I have a file cabinet that fits exactly underneath so I’m less wary of the whole thing tipping over.To start off the front legs are too short, you can see the desktop is not level. The hardware is really poor quality plastic and cheap metal for the weight of the item. The instructions are very confusing and poorly labeled. It did not come with the L bracket to secure it to the wall though it’s pictured in the inventory. I don’t usually fault a product for shipping but the box it was packaged in was terrible, it was falling apart as I opened it. I had to get a replacement desk bc the first one arrived with all corner pieces damaged from the poor packing. Wayfair returns were effortless though.
