They are beautiful. They are nice and cushy, so if you can sit upon a bar stool, these have the foot rest and I am told they sit well and are very comfortable. (I wanted these for other people because I have never been able to sit on a bar stool and I slid right off these). I tried to adjust the seat and that didn't work, so someone else sat on it and it adjusted perfectly. These are really easy to put together but I had 3 sets of screws and allen wrenches. One set is to attach the seat to the rod of the hydraulic system that raises and lowers the stool; there were no other holes anywhere to place the other 2 sets. Perhaps they are replacements, so don't discard them. These are exceptionally nice with the wood backs also. The swivel and height adjustment of this pair makes a great addition to any room. The chairs are ok, will be interesting to see how long they hold up. It’s quite lighter than I imagined.
