This is a really cute mid century modern take on an everyday rocking chair. The high wing back is comfortable and retro to me, along with the natural rocker legs. The teal green color is also gorgeous! I debated what color to get because the velvet looked rich in all the colors offered. I do not know if the velvet material will last, but for us, this is going to be an accent chair, so I do not anticipate it wearing out. But in a baby’s room, used daily, it may not be the most durable material. My pictures below show the process of putting this together, which looks simple knowing there are only a few straight forward parts. I was doing this thing for over an hour, so take my advise and get a helper to hold things while you are screwing bolts in. The one picture below where I am pointing at a sticker, be sure to read and follow correctly. I did not, and had to redo the legs. I put them on inside out and backwards, which worked, until you sat on the chair. Wrong angle. Then I saw the sticker pointing which way faces the front! Anyways, it should not be a big job, I am just not the best at putting things together. I do love the look of it. I would have given it Five stars, except that the rocker chair has a stiff short rock to it, instead of a smooth long back and forth. It is not a big deal for me, because like I said, we are going to use it as an accent chair, but if you are looking for huge movement or durable material, this chair may not be for you. It worked for me, thanks Wayfair!
