This is an adorable product, but after receiving it in the mail I was blown away by how complicated it is to build this side table! The box came with about 20 pieces to assemble (plus the additional hardware). It also requires tools including a drill, hammer, and screwdriver. The assembly instructions include 38 steps and recommend having 2 people assemble the table. My husband assembled it by himself and it took him a few hours to do it and several tools. It is very nice (we opted not to include the eyes on the robot face personally) and provides plenty of great storage. I would recommend this product, but I am giving it 4 stars because of the complicated assembly.

Great side table. The only consideration is the top only lifts up about halfway.

I cannot LOVE this piece enough!!! I purchased the Robot-Shaped Wood End Table and it has instantly become the most fun and functional piece in the room (actually the whole house). The robot design is cute and unique. The material is solid and the finish is rich yet neutral. The LED light enhances the overall appeal and levity. The 360-degree swivel head is cute, the wheels make it more functional and easier to move around. The hinges are very sturdy as are the supports to the lifting top. It comes in a lot of pieces but the instructions are very easy to follow and it did not take long to put together. This piece has an enormous amount of storage. The bottom drawer is deep and pulls all the way out. The “belly” is deep and high enough to store board game boxes. The top lifts up for additional roomy storage. We are using it in our living room to hold games and cards for game night and a few toys. I did not expect for this to hold as much as it does. I also did not expect for it to be so sturdy and solid. This is the type of furniture that will be with you for the long haul. You will not have to worry about it falling apart with use or moving it around. You can probably knock it down the stairs with no worries! I highly recommend this item. It is sturdy, fun and functional! You will NOT be disappointed!
