I have mixed feelings about this product. I ordered this in white. This shelf is constructed of particle board with a white "melamine type" veneer like the shelving boards you can buy at the big box stores. All of the parts were provided; instructions were simple and there was only minimal chipping damage on the veneer. The finished product is sturdy. Here are the things that I am not so positive about. The color, it is very "bright white" even though when I asked about the color in the available product questions it was stated that this was probably a softer white...I wanted softer white! There are 65 screws used in the construction of this shelf which of course means that you have many visible exposed silver screw heads, 54 to be exact, staring you in the face when construction is complete! You are provided with white plastic covers for the exposed screw heads but really is this a great look? So overall, I am just going to learn to love this shelf...it does have a nice height, the construction is straightforward, it is very sturdy when completed and the design is pleasing...just the bright white color, the tendency toward looking "cheap" and all of these visible screw heads capped with white plastic kind of ruins the experience for me!

Color:Natural Oak
At first I wasn’t sure about the color— it is a little dusty and more graybrown. But I love the structure of it and ended up keeping it. Sturdy and happy with it.
