Îlot de cuisine en bois 2 tiroirs 2 tablettes blanc vieilli |

After years of deciding what would fit and look right in my kitchen, I finally found this. Order furniture online is always scary because I can't put my hands on it, so I was delighted when this arrived. It's solid wood, very sturdy, and gorgeous. Exactly the farmhouse work table look I was going for. As other reviews have said, the top is two pieces; for me, this is not a con because most antique tables are made that way. Yes, there are knots in the wood on top; it's not a smooth butcher block. Depending on how you'll be using it, that shouldn't be an issue. However, if I decide I want that, I can always take the top off and replace with a solid slab of butcher block and still be at a price lower than it would've taken me to buy everything and built this. All in all a good purchase, highly recommend.

I love the look of the island. We put it together and 4 days later noticed one of the shelves had split. We had not put anything on the shelf yet. Wayfair is shipping a replacement piece but it was disappointing.

Poor quality in the finishing of the top. You can literally see where they join the wood pieces together. Just an overall poor quality in the finish!

Missing pieces, no hardware, stain mismatch

It absolutely wood and well made. I would have given 5 stars but I was disappointed that the top is put together with 2 pieces of wood instead of one solid piece. With that said, it’s worth the money.
