This is a nice looking piece of furniture. 4 stars instead of 5 because it's definitely engineered wood and looks like it, but also because it has a piece that goes across the top that helps keep it together that doesn't show up in the dimensions on the website. If you plan to put something under this (in my case, a litter box), you need allowance for another 2.5 inches or so.

The coffee table is decent quality. The lift top mechanism works really well. It require minor force to lift. Same goes for putting it down - minor force and then it automatically goes down. It feels it can handle decent weight too. Also has decent storage. Love it!

The table itself is great. It was not damaged, the grain and color are true to the pics and it's very sturdy. However, I bought it to put over a litter box that's enclosed. The measurements online don't reflect the fact that this table has a support crossbar on the underside that goes down about 3 inches. I had to cut a notch out of that crossbar to make my litter box fit. The table is still very sturdy, but just be mindful if storing something under this table that the underside bar drops the height a few more inches in the middle than the top/down measurement states.

Love this lift top coffee table. It was by far one of the easiest pieces to assemble. The pictures online don’t do it justice. I have a mixture of wood pieces of furniture and I love them all.

Great table. Love the wood look and fits my space. The wood color is great not too light or too dark. Simple and easy to put together.
