I was initially skeptical…will I like, will I not and if not how much will it cost me to ship back But I can tell you this unit is indeed a KEEPER! Lots of work to put together (took me 3 days) but the end result is well worth it. Perfect color and size. Only thing I would change is for the manufacturer to provide joint connector bolts to secure the bookshelves to the bed cabinet.

Beautiful piece! It came in 9 boxes, super heavy. We opened it in the garage and just took everything up stairs. I love the barn door look.

Ordered the professional assembly since it states that it is required, it was cancelled by wayfair but they still shipped the bed. Arrived home to 10 incredibly heavy boxes. The delivery arrived two days early so I wasn’t prepared and didn’t have anyone to help me bring in the boxes. Hired an outside source to build the bed, but the measurements on the website are smaller than the actual measurements so was not able to build one of the shelving units since it didn’t fit in the room. Now I need to return three very large heavy boxes. Had I known this would be so difficult I never would have ordered this bed. I feel like I should have been notified once the assembly was cancelled before they shipped the bed. Terrible service

Our basement contractor unfortunately fell through shortly after delivery, so our basement bedroom isn’t fully finished yet, but I will continue to update the required photos as the room and bed come together. The bed itself is stunning and extremely well crafted. There are many pieces and it definitely takes a few extra hands to assemble, but the directions are clear, well written, and easy to follow. Once assembled, the frame folds down and back up smoothly and effortlessly, which was one of my biggest concerns and it exceeded expectations. The design is beautiful and timeless. I haven’t decided yet whether I’ll paint it or keep it white. It’s absolutely gorgeous as-is, though the rest of my home leans more toward dark hickory tones, so I’m still deciding. Either way, it looks high-end and thoughtfully designed. What I love most is how versatile this piece is. It’s going to allow us to use this space as an office or home gym while still functioning as a comfortable guest bedroom when needed. It’s the perfect solution for a downstairs room with multiple purposes. I truly couldn’t love this bed any more and can’t wait to share updated photos once the basement is complete. This is going to be the centerpiece of our downstairs bedroom, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, functional Murphy bed.
