Sturdy and heavy chairs. They are definitely gray. The cushions are a bit stiff to sit on but I’d much rather that then too soft and it looking messy after some time

The weight of the chairs are very good. I like them.

After hemming and hawing about which chairs to buy for weeks, I finally hit purchase on these and I'm happy I did. Buying chairs online feels risky, right? You can't tell if the color in the picture is true or what they feel like to actually sit in. In the pictures these have a brown tint, but the description says they are grey and another reviewer stated they are gray, so I knew to expect gray (which they are). They were pretty straightforward to put together. We did have a problem with one of the chair backs (the holes on the back didn't line up with the holes on the seat) but I was able to easily request a new chair back from Wayfair online and it arrived quickly. The seat cushions are firm-just right for a dining room chair-and are comfortable to sit in, even for extended dinners. My 4-year old has spilled food and liquid on these already and everything has washed off well with a damp cloth.
