Shaker Solid Wood Armoire

I was VERY pleased with the quality of this furniture. Other cabinets I have purchased only had a colored cardboard back. These had stained plywood backing. They supplied plenty of extra screws and nails. The instructions (only pictures, very little text) were easy to follow and helpful. All of the predrilled holes were properly aligned. Overall, this was excellent furniture at a reasonable price. The delivery boxes were very heavy, but the FedEx driver was very kind and helped me get them into the house where I could work with them.

Gorgeous wood, very sturdy piece. Only 4 stars because I was shocked to see that the inside of the drawers was unfinished – just raw wood! I will probably seal them myself with polyurethane at some later point. Also, I found the huge and extremely heavy Rear Panel odd. I understand it is to weight the armoire, but I’d never seen that before. Nonetheless, a lovely, well-made piece of furniture that looks much more expensive than what I paid. I chose to purchase this through Wayfair because they offered assembly and they vet those employees so I didn’t have to do the research! The young man who came to assemble completed the job in about 45 minutes – he knew what he was doing! Friendly and efficient. For those who have sensitive noses, as I do, this smells like fresh wood (because of the unfinished drawers). I find it a very pleasing smell. There is no smell from the cherry stain, which is GORGEOUS! I also bought an extra shelf directly from Grain Wood and without any communication on my part, the company shipped the extra shelf along with the armoire. I would purchase from Grain Wood and Wayfair again.

Beautiful armoire! Very solid and sturdy. The perfect addition to my bedroom and matches my other furniture. I paid for assembly and it was worth it. I live in an antique home with very tiny closets and this is a great solution. Very happy to finally have room for my clothes!

This is the most one out of many pieces of furniture from Wayfair!! It’s big and roomy. It literally held every piece of clothing plus more, that I had in my last armoire.

THis is very nice. I bought one in 2024. AFter several hrs putting it together by myself, (I love these projects, Truely) I am very happy with its presence in my home. I highly recommend this Armoire.
