So gorgeous! Exactly what I needed!

Very pretty carved wood coffee table, Moroccan style. Listed as white on Wayfair but it's actually a soft grey-beige--we like it, but it NOT white. See my photo, below. No assembly needed, which is a plus. Looks great in our living room. Strong odor (paint? Chemicals?) when we first opened the box, although it dissipated quickly.

I purchased this table knowing that I would paint it, because in my opinion it looks like dirty dishwater. I, also was fortuanate enough to get it for an "open box price". With that said the table arrived the box was in such bad shape I thought the table would be damaged, but it was in tact. I found someone to paint it which with the open box price still had the table a bit less than what it was selling for. Husband said he didn't think it was wood, wife thought it was. I proudly read to them "solid Montery pine". Checked on it a week later to find it was not Monterey Pine, not even solid wood, but MDF. Wayfair was responsive to my email, the listing was a mistake. I could return it for a refund (I would be out $250.00) for the paint work or accept a 20% discount. I took the discount for fear of no refund at all. I then contacted the DA in my County who said that they would make a one time exception and contact Wayfair however they felt without returning the table and since I acceppted the 20% I wouldn't receive my money back. After a month I was contacted by Wayfair and told I would receive a refund, which took another month and the decription would be corrected. Maybe this table is "solid Monterey pine" now, but buy at your own risk. They have an identcal table to this listed that is $389.00 listed "base material solid+manufactured wood", save yourself some money and heartache. By the way, I'm happy with the table now, although had I not received a refund I would have sold it.
