Perfect size! The color and shape of this side table ties my living room together.

This side table is all metal, but surprisingly light for its size. I got a pair in dark grey, to use in a spare bedroom with a sleeper sofa. The room has several bookcases and serves as a reading room and area to relax, when there are no guests, but I wanted something with a bit of storage space. These fit the bill perfectly. The entire top comes off, and you can fill the entire drum with whatever you need. I have pillows in one and sheets and blankets in the other. The room is neat, the bedding is handy, and the room is far more interesting looking than it would be with a storage cabinet. The texture is also interesting, and the entire bottom is covered with a large felt disk to protect flooring. The only thing that bothers me is that the lid is metal and it can be noisy when you put it on the drum. I wish it had a small ring of felt or something to cushion the lid just a bit. Very well made and sturdy, I highly recommend this.
