Do not pay all this money for this bed frame!! They literally send you a box full of lumber and you have to make like a carpenter and build. I had to buy a power drill, and since I had the bedframe with the legs I also had to whip out measuring tape and a pencil praying that nothing was off from drilling brackets to hold the bed myself. It was hell building this bed by myself. Nothing is preinstalled for you, nothing is perforated, they literally send a box full lumber and screws and you have to become a carpenter and build everything from scratch, you even install the slats and rails that hold them yourself. I purchased this for my daughter, my sons house bed came with preinstalls of atleast the slat rails and everything had perforated holes and hardware that makes it easy to install and be able to take down however many times as you need to. It seems with this you’ll only be able to install once and that’s where it’ll have to be because once the screws are in, taking them out will leave holes that you have to redrill back into. I can’t get over how I had to install a leveler onto my phone since I didn’t have my physical one hoping and praying and mostly guessing where I should drill the rails onto the wood. I kept having to step back and eye if everything looked even. Some parts of the install you will need a person to help you because there’s no way you’ll be able to hold the heavy lumber on your own to drill particular parts like handling the 2x6’s of lumber. Most of it you can do yourself but there are those part you’re just gonna need somebody’s hands. In the end after a week of finding the time to complete this task with having 3 little children (one being a newborn) while my partner was at work, I was done. It looks good but it was hell and I’m afraid that if we ever have to move, putting it back up may be a problem because we’ve drilled directly into the wood. They didn’t design this with the proper hardware to be able to install it multiple times. You literally have to drill screws into the wood again and again versus just being able to take a screwdriver and screw into protective hardware that protects the wood against stripping. I’m so proud of myself for completing this bed because it wasn’t an easy feat at all.

Purchased for our daughter's first bed. Albeit the installation may be difficult for some people, this is still a high-quality bed using poplar over pine. This is a great minimalistic design and we painted it to match other furniture.

This bed is sturdy and made well. Yes, you have to own a power drill and you will need two people to put it together. With that being said, it wasn't complicated to put together at all. The bed feels very well made and solid. I feel like it is a bit big for the room we have it in, so be sure to really measure as this bed carries some visual weight and might overwhelm a smaller room. Our daughter loves it!
