This was surprisingly easy to assemble. It took us under an hour to set up the twin bed and trundle. The whole bed arrived in 3 different boxes. All the pieces fit together perfectly. It’s a pretty solid piece. Love the curves and detail of the headbord. The trundle has 4 wheels and can be used as storage, too there are three boards you screw onto the 4 slats in the bottom so nothing falls through.

Very sturdy, beautiful color, trundle “drawer” is substantial (we are using it for stuffed animal storage for now - LOL!)! Definitely helps to have 2 people for assembly. I’d suggest a thin bunky board (likely available wherever you buy your mattress) or plywood over the slats if you’re not using a boxspring.
