I purchased the bench to hold plants in a dining room bump out for the winter. Also, to sort of hide baskets of craft supplies underneath. I painted the legs and stained the seat. So, it looks pretty, and it is doing its job - holding one plant currently. It is too low to serve as extra seating at a dinner table.
