Initial delivery experience was horrendous. Ist it was delayed. I paid for delivery to room of choice, and delivery men refused, cited Wayfairs rediculous policy to only deliver to second floors, but I live on 3rd, and they left item in 2nd floor stairwell and I had no way to get it in my apt, and they left refusing to let me inspect the item as was stated in delivery instructions email. While back in my apt to get help to move item, I called Wayfair to complain, she put me on hold ten hung up on me. I returned to the stairwell and my item was gone. I filed a police report, called Wayfair again and found out the rep that hung up on me sent the delivery guys to take backsteal my item, with no notice to me. While scheduling another delivery I informed her the item box is damaged as I saw in 1st delivery. Cops come to take a statement, so I apologized to them for wasting their time. 2nd delivery day and its same delivery guys from the 1st mightmare delivery, and I was not happy. The were a bit more cordial, and delivered the item into my apt. Didnt wait for me to inspect it, and as suspect it was damaged in seversl areas. I searched so many years to find the perfect one, I paid a lot of money and Im extreemly upset cause now Im just left with this very damaged piece of furniture. Need less to say, I will never purchase anything from Wayfair again!
